All Change

4 July, 2007

Welcome to the new site. It’s been a busy couple of weeks as we’ve not only launched Aynsley’s new site and moved Claire’s onto Expression Engine, we’ve also been working hard on ours.

I know it’s our shop window but the hardest people to design for are us. Mainly because Greg and I like different sorts of sites (you may recall the old one was ever so slightly kitsch?) but we both agreed it was time to ‘grow up’ and ‘freshen up’ as the old site had been up for around 2 years. Plus there was so much more we wanted to be able to do – like blog about some of the technical stuff that Greg and Dan have been doing, and have a place to generally interact with the people who know us from the business, technical and ‘mates’ world.

Every three months or so we’d sit down and try to design a new one and not be able to agree on one we both liked, or just not be able to come up with anything that didn’t look a lot like the old site (which we both loved), so we just kept putting it off. Plus of course we have been mad busy.

I’ll leave the technical stuff to the boys to blog about (yes you can all breathe out now) however in homage to our old site:

Very nice guys. Ever so slightly 2.0 without going totally MySpace. Deffo worth the effort.

Kind regards, Alan

Very smart, I especially like the Photo of Skateboard, how did you get her to stand still long enough?

She’s calmed down loads since you last saw her. Honest…

Although she still has a tongue like an electric eel and she loves the taste of a man’s tonsils.
