Introduction
fabEE integrates Facebook Connect with your ExpressionEngine application. It allows Facebook users to automatically create user accounts, login and act as site members.
This integration is (for the most part) transparent to the rest of your application. The fabEE user accounts are real, full-featured members that you can control using standard EE methods.
Please read the whole of this documentation before installing fabEE. You need to set up your application on Facebook as well as within your ExpressionEngine site and it’s important to understand how this works.
The Facebok Connect Terms of Service are strict about the way that user data is accessed and stored. fabEE has been designed to enable you to adhere to these terms. However, the onus is on you to make sure that you don’t do anything that infringes on the rights of Facebook or its users.
This document does not reproduce the Facebook Connect Terms of Service and should not be used as a final reference. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with the major points of the terms. They can be found in the Facebook Developers Wiki at http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Facebook_Connect_Policies
If you have specific questions about how fabEE works with regards the Facebook Connect Terms of Service then please post in the fabEE support forums at http://getsatisfaction.com/purple_dogfish/purple_dogfish_fabee_for_1x
