Settings
Click the Members Utilities link on the Modules page to access the settings. The only setting you must use is if you are running the Discussion Forum module through a regular template as described in the ExpressionEngine User Guide.
Running a forum through a regular template
If you are doing this then you must add the template group and template that the forum tag is on. You do not need to add the index if your tag is on the index template. This is required to make sure that your member search links when viewing an inline profile work correctly.
For example: if you are running the forums on a template called badgers in a template group called woodland-animals you would add this to the settings:
woodland-animals/badgersHowever, if you are running your forums on the index template of a group called woodland-animals then you only need put this:
woodland-animalsThere is no need to add leading or trailing slashes.
Profile Update Notifications
If you wish you can have Member Utilities email you when a member updates their profile. If you wish to notify multiple administrators then just separate the email addresses with a comma. There are 6 variables you can use to construct your own email template though none are required.
